My Interests:
|
I have been interested in music since I was 4/5 years old, growing up to the likes of
Oasis, The Prodigy and other popular music, but in 1994 I became interested in a different type of music: Hip-Hop.
My love for hip-hop was sparked off by the introduction of Brooklyn rapper The Notorious B.I.G. to the stage.
I was so impressed by Biggie's flow and style that had to discover more of this style of music. From here I
discovered the lyrical talents of Nas, the upbeat rhythms of A Tribe Called Quest, the perfect mix that is De La Soul
and many more.
In my opinion, 1995 was the best year hip-hop ever witnessed. Mobb Deep dropped "Shook Ones Part II" and "Survival
of the Fittest", two of the rawest tracks ever produced. Biggie released "Big Poppa" and "One More Chance", aswell
as colloborating with Junior M.A.F.I.A. on "Get Money", 2Pac hooked up with MC Breed to do "Gotta Get Mine", Outkast
recorded the record "Players' Ball", which in my opinion is still their best song to date. 1995 was what caused me
to become enthralled by hip-hop music, a love which still stands strong today.
