Bad Boy Records
URL:  http://www.badboyonline.com
The man who goes by several names, "P. Diddy", "Puff Daddy", "Puffy" has always been best known for the superiority and class with which he delivers his entertainment. He's not a good rapper and he sure as hell is not renowned for his songwriting, but the guy really knows how to put on a good show. Whether it be a concert with every popular artist imaginable on stage, one of his famous "Cristal" after-parties or this constantly changing, amazing website, P. Diddy never fails to deliver. This site is a must-visit for anyone who wants to see the true potential of the Internet.

Roc-A-Fella Records

Roc-A-Fella is the record label managed and run by Dame Dash, and previously Jay-Z. The R.O.C. are steadily taking over from the likes of Bad Boy, Death Row and No Limit as the highest earners in the hip-hop game. Sporting artists such as Jay-Z (now retired), M.O.P, Kanye West, Memphis Bleek, Cam'Ron and more, Roc-A-Fella are truly in full swing now, and are only improving by the day.

Star Trak Records

Star Trak, the record label of production geniuses, The Neptunes, are now pushing along with releases from The Neptunes themselves, Kelis, Fam-lay, N*E*R*D, Dirt McGirt (formerly Ol' Dirty Bastard) and others. The Neptunes have produced records for everyone in the hip-hop game (with a small number of exceptions such as Dr. Dre, Eminem, 50 Cent and Missy Elliott). Not only that but they have produced records for pop artists and rock artists, for example Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and even No Doubt.

Missy Elliott Site
URL:  http://www.missy-elliott.com
If Aretha Franklin is the queen of soul, and Mary J. Blige is the queen of R'n'B, then Missy Elliott is definitely the queen of hip-hop. Although I was previously not a fan of her work, her two most recent albums have truly converted me to a Missy fan. Her style is completely different from everyone else in the hip-hop game (due in part to the magic of Timbaland), taking an old school vibe and mixing it with a new school feel. She's definitely a love her or hate her artist, but then again, who isn't???

Violator Records
URL:  http://www.violator.com
Violator, a division of Elektra Entertainment, is best known for artists such as Busta Rhymes and Missy Elliott. A recent attack on Violator's building in New York has led to an on-going feud between Busta Rhymes and Queens rapper Ja Rule. Busta, along with many other hip-hop artists such as DMX, 50 Cent and Eminem, are in constant beef with Ja.
