Boom Desjardins found his place on the musical map as one of the founders and the lead singer of La Chicane. With La Chicane, Boom released 3 best-selling albums, En catimini, Disparu, and Ent'nous autres. In that time, Boom also started his own label, Boom Box and signed "chum" Dany Bedar as it's first artist. In 2004, Boom released his own solo album, Boom Desjardins, earning a couple ADISQ nominations and two Juno nominations. He went on to release a CD/DVD in 2006, Au nom de la musique. He is currently in the studio working on his next album.
