| This 3D LASER SCANNER uses harddisk (HDD) head actuator. HDD head must rotate very quickly with angle like +/- 20 degrees. Using the harddisk electronics is really very difficult. We power the harddisk coil with a little audio power amplifier IC. We remove HDD-heads and corresponding piece of metal (to decrease the inertia) and we glue about 10x10x5 mm mirror from an old photocopier on the axis. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
