Eusebio Valdez

Eusebio Valdez was another of the founders on the list from Jimenez, Coahuila, having come from the San Antonio area.

Eusebio was born in TX about 1822. All we know is that his mother's name was Paula but I speculate that she may have been the Paula de la Cruz who was married to Manuel Valdez (Baldes).

Eusebio was married to Maria Deonicia Cadena who was born in San Antonio on April 12,1830 (recorded in San Fernando Church records) to Monica Juarez and Francisco Cadena. Eusebio was a Cartman who would transport people and things between Goliad, Tx and San Antonio in the mid 1800s prior to having gone to Jimenez, Coahuila.

His daughter, Santos Cadena Valdez married Pantaleon Herrera Sr. in Pleasanton, TX (Atascosa County near Bexar County) on March 5,1873. Some of their children were born there. Eusebio Valdez died about 1908 and Deonicia Cadena died before 1894. Pantaleon Herrera Sr died 1900 in Jimenez, Coahuila and Santos Valdez died October 15, 1915 in Del Rio, TX.
