I want to take this opportunity to thank our Captain from last
year Gary Devlin for his tremendous work carried out over the
season. Not only in his role as Captain, but at committee level
and behind the scenes, he worked tirelessly so we could all
enjoy our golf. So when he asked me to be his Vice Captain I was
very proud to accept the role. Having been a member of the North
Beach Golf Club for nearly 16 years now, I was honored to accept
this role and I’m looking forward to the season and tasks ahead,
even more so, as it’s our 25th Year. This makes it extra special
and I hope, like me, you will all enjoy the weeks and months
ahead.
So as Captain of the North Beach Golf Club I would like to take
this opportunity to welcome our members old and new to what
should become an exciting year. I want you all to enjoy the
competitions and give it that wee bit extra effort to your golf.
To win these competitions in our 25th year will be something
special and something you can look back on. The fixture list
kicks off at Brunston Castle for our Spring Outing, and it’s
good to get the first trophy in the cabinet. Then it’s onto the
usual 4 competitions played over a week, gently getting back
into the swing of things. Slaley Hall is our port of call for
the Summer Outing with an overnight stay and 2 rounds of golf
instead of the usual 27 holes. All the amenities will be
available to anyone who attends. The latter half of the season
will determine the winners of all our Finals, and I’m sure you
will turn out in numbers to support the members who qualify.
Finally I want to wish you all the best of luck for the 2009
season.

information relating to your Golf Club.

of any changes to your golf season then please let us know. If
you miss out we wont be held responsible if you have changed
your email, mobile, home address or home phone number and not
