Daily Schedule

Here is a sample of our daily schedule, it is VERY flexible to allow for
changes, and if the children are involved in an activity, I usually let them
finish and throw out my plans for the day and use them for another day!

8am daycare opens (this is flexible to the needs of the families)

8:30 breakfast time (a healthy meal to start the day!)

9-10 free indoor play, the children can choose what

they would like to do (see "things to do

at Jill's House"), a craft is usually set out as well

10-noon outdoor play (weather permitting)  

we play in the yard or take a walk or go to the school playground

12:30 lunch time (wash hands first!)

1-ish children clear their dishes if they can, go potty,

wash hands, brush their teeth (I provide

toothbrushes and tiny amount of toothpaste)

1:30 to 3:30 reading/nap/quiet time  

(bigger children read for 20 minutes and

sometimes help read to the little ones)

3:30 pm snack time

4:30 pick up time

5:00 closing time (again, flexible to

meet the needs of the families)
