Jill's House Child Care's

Activities Page

Here is just some of the fun stuff you can do while spending the day at
Jill's house!

Draw a Picture (we have all kinds of markers, stamps, pencils and pens)!
Do a Craft (we have loaded up with many great art project supplies)!
Help Take Care of Our Many Pets (at the moment, we have a dog, two cats, a
fish and two mice)!
Play Outside!  (ride bikes, climb the tree, jump on the mini trampoline, play
golf or baseball, basketball, sandbox, chalk) we also have an art area set up
in our garage for messy projects!)
Play Inside we have a playroom downstairs just for the kids! puppet theater,
dress up, dollhouses and people, animals and much more!
Music Time   we always make time for music and dancing!  The kids love it!
We have lots of fun music videos, too and musical instruments!
Board Games we have lots of board games for kids of all ages!
Cooking Time sometimes we all gather in the kitchen to make a mess and maybe
even make something good to eat!
Play dough and Clay my kids favorite thing to do!
Painting the kids love to paint!
Reading Time we set aside a time for reading every day after lunch, I truly
believe that reading is very important ... the bigger kids even earn rewards
and free books for reading in the summer... I give them a quarter for every
chapter and book they finish!
Computer Play  I have many educational and fun computer games for the kids to
play ... it is amazing how young these kids are when they learn to use a
mouse!!!
Free Play  I believe this is the most important part of the children's day,
when their imaginations go wild, I love to see them pretend that Santa is
coming, its so cute!!
Water Play we aren't allowed to have a pool, but we find other ways to enjoy
water..... the kids even have fun just playing in the sink!
Mind Your Manners I try to work with the kids every day on their manners, I
think manners make a person nice to know!

Well, this isn't all, but a good idea of what we do all day..........  oh,
yeah, we do have a quiet time after reading time, so that the children can
rest their bodies (and recharge!  hahaha)
