Poems

This is my collection of poems that I've written.  Take a look.  Always love feed back!  Right now they're not going to be displayed the way I like(one per page), but it will take forever, so I'll start like this and then see if I feel like changing it.  All are untitled just for referance and are basically shown in the order in which they were written..  Enjoy! - Miss  D-

I can recall-a warm summer's day-
Filled with blue skies-children happily at play-
And you-and I-
With laughter filling our eyes.

We walked-we talked-
Under leafy trees so green!-
I told you stories-you sang me songs-
And gave me jewelry that gleamed!

Those days are now long gone-
Now and forever more-
I sit and wonder when-
But youre the only one whom I can adore.

You wrote me a note,
Saying the world had just spun out from under me,
And I hung suspended in space,
And screamed.
But none could here my cries-
Of guilt!
Of Anger!
Of confusion!
Of hurt!
I looked down,
And seeing the hole in my chest,
And the trail of blood,
From me to you,
As you stood grinning,
My heart in your hands,
I knew,
None must know.

Oh!  How I long to tell my love,
How greatly I yearn for him,
How devotedly I adore him,
How steadily I weep with dread,
Wondering how long these things shall go unsaid,
It seems as if I have waited for centuries,
Worshiped with the patience and faithfulness of a dog,
Yet still I go unfed!
Still I find my thirst unquenched!
My love still goes unrequited!
Aye me!  But to be able to love him!
To be able to say that which I cannot!
To utter the words that must not,
Oh!  To speak the unspoken!
To wake the unwoken!
The wonder that is that yet to be done,
That which is still undone!
Hope is life and life is hope,
With out which we cannot begin to cox,
A semblance of better beings.

One minute I think I love you
Then the next I can't decide
I wish I could make up my mind
But that's too much like suicide
I think it would make me happy,
But then I find I can't twist the knife,
Then I realize I wouldn't have to,
Because you've murdered me already 1,000 times
