| Saturday: Gee, after going to bed at 3 am, I awoke today at 12:30, at breakfast at 1, and got really frustrated playing frisbee at 2. Art coming back to the field and playing against me could be a big part of that, that and the fact that I had higher expectations of myself based on what happened yesterday. I was really down on myself most of the time, at least until I got rocked. I'm running down field after a frisbee that hits and starts rolling, I turn my head and see JR. Shoulder to chin, full speed contact. Next thing I know, I'm laying on my stomach with my eyes closed writhing in pain. It was a new experience for me. Later in the night, I meet up with Matt and Larry in the lobby to play cards, yet again. Then we went to Blockbuster to get some movies to watch, and then to the new Taco Bell on Dave Lyle. I give it my blessing, it certainly has a new and interesting look to it, and seems more open. So yeah, back to Matt's room to watch our two movies at about 10:30. What were the movies you ask? The Shining and Apocolypse Now. That's 5+ hours of complete and utter psychological madness in movies. Yeah, Apocolypse Now ended about 3 am. Think about that for a while. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

Something I forgot to mention for Saturday, the whole backing up to the drive thru ATM thing. I needed money, I needed to use the ATM, I was sitting shotgun, Matt decided we would back up. Enough said about the crazy Yankees. Monday: Answered the Batsignal and came to the aid of Kenneth's volleyball team, since Aaron R. might not have been able to make it. He was there, but got hurt, so I played a few points anyway. They lost the championship to Chandler's team. The first game, was really good and they won 22-20, with me being completely terrified playing the last couple points. Then there was the emotional let down and they got stomped the other two games. Then, Kenneth, Jeremy, and I were the cheerleaders for the Amazons, Mere, Jen, Brittany, Anne, and the rest of their team. Since we were the only ones there rooting for them, out of like 20 people, I told Kenneth we needed to be louder than the other people, the three of us. So, those acrobatic guys were doing cartwheels and toetouches, I'm not flexible enough for such things. We did some cheers, but basically we tried to be as loud as possible. They lost 2 games to 1 as well. Then we went to Kenneth's to watch movies. Jeremy, Kenneth and I watched an old Jackie Chan movie for a bit, waiting for the girls to show up; females -rolling eyes-. When Jen and Anne got there we watched I-Spy, which was as funny as I thought it would be. It ended at like 12:30, and all those academic people left, but those of us who are hardcore stayed and watched X-2 until 3:30 in the morning. Yeah, that was an intelligent decision. I did find out how much Kenneth and I are alike in various ways. And I also found out that the day he broke his leg in that severe fashion was the day I got dumped. I find that somewhat odd, and being the susperstitious person I am, just a little creepy.

Monday night: While in the midst of writing an important research paper, I was so filled with adrenaline, that if I continued to pace around in my small cubicle of a dorm room, I was certain I would drive not only myself, but also my roomate crazy. What should one do in such a predicament? I asked myself, "What would Jared do?" and obviously the answer was to go to Dunkin Donuts, it's okay, I had Subway. So I decended to the 5th Floor, Art was asleep, so I went to the back-up of Manny. Manny happened to be talking to Alicia on IM, and he was able to convice her to come too. "But I'm in my PJs" "Oooh even better" "Give me 10 minutes" "The only thing worse than being seen in my PJs is being seen with Jared and Manny." "I was supposed to work on a study guide?" "Why is Walter calling you now? To check to see if I've worked on the study guide." And how about that idea to require those friggin short cars to put extensions on the backs of the cars so people can not get false hopes of finding a space in the horseshoe? Or how about that better idea of Manny's to have electronic sensors put in for all the spaces so they could construct a light that would be green if there was a space in the horseshoe and red if there wasn't? We don't need a new gym or library or student center, we can divert the funds to this project. Back to writing the paper. Tuesday: Yelling at basketball game make voice very hoarse. Sorry, thought I'd try my hand at something someone else does. Honestly, they played like crap tonight, they were very lucky to come away with that one point win. I still like women's games better, because Charles, Chasen, David, and I were drowned out by the rest of the crowd. It sucks.

Thursday: After finishing my paper, The Richardson Inferno, I was getting ready to go to sleep, as I knew I would be driving for quites some time, but at 12:30, I got a call from Kat asking me to come down to the ACC to help her with a paper. Just looking at the fact that it took me like 5 minutes to get the cuffs of my shirt buttoned so I could put on my jacket, you could tell I was way out of it. And I did help Kat not do any work on her paper until 2 am when the ACC closed. It was fun though, especially with those plots to trick the people in there that it was snowing. To find out what happened on our trip: First, watch the video. Second, read the supplementary story here.

A Weekend at Kenny's I was there until about 2 on Thursday night. On Friday night, I went over there to watch The Italian Job. But Erik, Manny, Jake, and the twins showed up, and we ended up playing Mario Kart for the GameCube until about 1. Then Kenneth and I watched the movie, and the special features until about 3:45. I got back to my room about 4. On Saturday night, Jeremy and I, in a procrastination type mood, went over to CVS to see if Kenneth was working, which he wasn't, and then proceded to the apartment. We watched The Transporter and The Big Hit. Both were pretty good action flicks, and The Big Hit was hilarious, in a dark humor, Snatch sort of way. We left around 2. I was accused of using Kenneth, since we did go over there to see him, just to watch his movies. But that's ok, I'll get over it.
