| The Evolved | ||
| The Evolved is the catch-all name for the animalistic races of Aldreia. When the deity couple Orius and Hurawyn wished to protect the last greatest land of beasts from the other races of the world, they imbued intelligence and wisdom into the animals of their continent. Over several hundreds of years, those creatures evolved into what they are now: humanoid animals just as intelligent as the other humanoid races. They come in a large variety, from the morikor bear-people to the mole-people to the karthen fox-people. They are also at different levels of civilization, and hold different beliefs. For example, the karthen and gnolls are cousins, but the karthen are intelligent, magical, and highly civilized while the gnolls are tribal, bloodthirsty, and warlike.
