| Mole People | ||
| There are many races through-out the land, and they take up nearly all of the habitable areas in the world. So some creatures have to take advantage of areas most would not think to live in. An example is the mole people. They take advantage of the underground, as most races cannot live there. They dont even have to compete much with other subterranean creatures, because most of them live in the caverns and already hollowed out areas underground. However, the mole people can live anywhere. Personality: Mole people are slow but steady and not very out-going. They dont take very well to others at first, but once you get to know them, theyll respect you forever. This is in part because they do not have very much contact with other races and are therefore naturally somewhat skeptic at first. Physical Description: Mole people are short, 3-3 feet tall usually. They are somewhat stocky, but only because they like to eat. They tend to weigh 45-50 pounds. Relations: Mole people get along well with most others, but do not have any strong likes or dislikes among the other races, with a few acceptations. They tend to be a peaceful race, so anyone who likes to fight and go to war (goblinoids, mainly) tend to not get along with mole people. They particularly like other subterranean races who share their knowledge of tunneling and all things underground, especially gnomes because they counteract the mole peoples soft and slow personalities nicely and have a similar height, which puts them more on the same level. Alignment: Mole people tend to be neutral. They tend to not especially care what happens as long as they keep leading their happy lives. Mole People Lands: Mole people live anywhere as long as it is underground. They take to light forests and plains mostly, because there are few other creatures underground in these areas and above ground there is a good supply of food. Religion: Mole people have their own god who encourages hunting and gathering and goodwill toward others. This helps interactions with mole people, because without his influence, they may shun most others entirely. Language: Mole people speak their own language, but any that have consistent interaction with other races tend to learn their languages as well. +2 Constitution, +2 Wisdom, -2 Charisma Small Base speed 20 ft, burrow speed 20 ft Poor sight: They see half as far as humans in all lighting conditions Tremorsense to 30 ft. Scent Favored Class: Druid Level Adjustment +1 Layer 3 |
