My Bucktails

This is a brown/yellow Friskytail bucktail. The hair is wrapped and epoxied and will not pull out. This lure features a small helper blade that forces the colorado blade to turn. Note the absence of a swivel on the lure. A swivel results in a tight spin on a blade. This setup gives a wide spin, like an in-line spinner, and has lots of flash and noise! The hooks are upturned and weedless like a standard spinnerbait. This lure has fancy barred feathers and crystal flash in the tail.

Here is my favorite color in a bucktail, crappie. Note the guinea hen feathers! Frisky decal on blade.

This is a Friskytail in firetail color. Photo is larger than the actual lure. These lures weight 1oz.

This is a crappie colored Frisky Spinnerbait. Features a rubber skirt and an Olympic blade. Weight 1 oz.

Frisky Tailspin spinner. This one is orange/green. The rear tail section of this lure spins counter-clockwise! This is a unique lure but was not practical to build. It also lacks a centered hook which could be a problem. This bait has great action! Weight 1.5 oz. Photo smaller than the actual size.

Tailspin in black/orange color scheme. Photo smaller than actual size.
