Momiji, or also be called as Kohyo in Japanese.
It is a symbol of Autumn in Japan. Those leaves will turn red or yellow after a cold breeze comes down from the Arctic Circle. Usually, it is around middle of October in north of Japan, and getting down to south of Japan at the beginning of December. After less than two weeks time to be full in colors, those leaves will fall and it is time to end the short Autumn in a year.
