You're A Good Man Charlie Brown

I was called in to design the lighting for "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" at the very last minute.  The company was 11 days before opening and their lighting designer fell very ill.  Unfortunately he had not kept detailed notes in paper format that we could use so I designed the show from scratch, added over half again more instruments than were hanging when I began, gelled and refocused what was there.
The concept was bright and cheerful and the most spectacular moment was during the baseball scene when we strongly backlit a cyc to Silhouette the team, while keeping Charlie Brown lit from the front.  This was not an easy task on such a shallow stage.
Much of the credit for getting this show mounted is due to the quick dedicated help of all the creative and production staff. We worked down to the last minute, including hanging a new Cyc opening night!

You're a Good Man Charlie Brown
The Gang sings of the good and not so good qualities of our old friend CB

Charlie Brown at Lunch
Charlie Brown wonders why the little redhead girl doesn't notice him or talk to him.

Curse you Red Barron!
Need I say more?

Lucy and Schroder
Lucy sings of her unrequited Love of Schroder, or maybe it is her love of having unrequited love?

When I get to be Queen!
Lucy fantasizes about her life as queen.

Play Ball
This is the top of the baseball number.  Unfortunately I do not have a picture of the actual silhouetted number
