Shelby Library Story Book Doll Exhibit and some others.
They were exhibited for the month of December.
Sponsored by our doll club and the Shelby, NC doll club.



Anita Carroll's original doll representing "Sophie" from the book, "Sophie's Masterpiece."

Judy Ferguson's original interpretation of "Baba Yaga" made of wool using felting needles from the book, "Baba Yaga, a Russian Folk Tale." by Katya Arnold.

Jeanne Kimlick's original dolls interpretations of the main characters in the book: "Joseph Had a Little Overcoat" by Simms Taback.

"Great Aunt Mary's Guest" in the book, "A Gracious Plenty" by Kate Salley Palmer. Original doll by Susan Hennes.
Panze Roberts' interpretation of the moon in "The Nigtgown of the Sullen Moon" by Nancy Willard. Original doll.
"Abigail" from "The Quilt Story" by Tony Johnston and Tamie De Paola. Original doll by Susan Hennes.

"Jane" original doll by Geraldine Nehl. Representing "The Good Little Girl" poem in the "Now We Are Six" book.

By Justine Koch. The doll represents a princess in "The Frog Princess" by J. Patrick Lewis.
