Hello, My name is Jean-Francois I live in Valcourt, Quebec, Canada,  a small town between Granby and  Sherbrooke. Located about 100 miles from Montréal and 50 miles to the Vermont border.  I graduated from College in 1995 at the "College de sherbrooke" as a mechanical technician. Since then, I work as a mechanical testing technician, doing a lot of mechanical testing like durability, fatigue, tensile,  products certifications and many other mechanical tests). My parents Marcel and Celine are now retired since march 2003 and may 2007. My father was also a mechanical test technician and my mother was secretary at a medical center. My sister Isabelle now works and lives at Montréal. She is the  mother of  Philippe (7 yrs), Marika (5 yrs) and Katrine (4 yrs). I live in a mobile home that I bought it in may 99. This summer, I have some work to do on the house, like install 3 new windows and redo one of the room that I currently use as a small working space.

My day to day car is a  red Saturn SC 2 2001 that I bought new in November 2001,. I will hit the 100 000 miles mark this summer.

I also own a 1992 Pontiac Trans sport that I bought in May 2007. I use my mini van when I travel. I did a close to 7 months road trip with this Van, up to Los Angeles, Vancouver Canada,  More than 22 000 miles road trip.

I have a little hamster name Snoopy.

My other interest are:

- Nascar: I'm use to go 2 times a year to New Hampshire Motor speedway. Last March I went to the Kobalts tools 500 at Atlanta motor speedway. The other race I went was Pocono, Bristol, Phoenix. Also, I went to the Nationwide NAPA 200 Montreal race.

- Drag and other short track racing: I went to many racing events like Montreal Formula 1 race, Indianapolis US grand prix, Las Vegas NHRA, ARCA Saleem Indiana, Rolex 6 hours at the Glen.

- Car show and Swap meet: The biggest one that I went was the 2007 SEMA show in Las Vegas.  A good swap meet is the one at Thomspon Speedway in Connecticut.

- Travelling: I want to go to Hong Kong and Shanghai this summer. I went to Tokyo (3 weeks), Taipei Taiwan (10 days), London UK (3 weeks), Nice-Monaco (2 weeks), Paris (2 weeks). In USA, I went to New York, Washington, Atlanta, Charlotte NC, Chicago, Nashville,  St-Louis, Tuscon, Phoenix, Las Vegas, San Diego, Los Angeles. Also, I did Route 66 fron Chicago to Los Angeles

- Sports; During summer, I walk a lot,  play Golf and cycling. During winter, snowboarding

- Reading: I read a lot of car magazine, like Nascar Scene, Car Craft

- Listen music: I have some good quality speakers, from 6 inches to 15 inches speakers, My favorites are my KEF C95, good low bass and powerful high range frequencies. I prefer Dance-Techno music but with this speakers, some

- Antique, Auction and flea market: You never know what you will find at those places.
