Bret has been an insulin dependent diabetic since the age of 6. He takes four insulin shots a day along with eight blood sugar tests. Not letting this stand in his way, he first joined a band called "Laser" and later went on to join "Spectre" with Rikki. Bret is a former bus boy, cook, and maintenance man. His musical influences are KISS, AC/DC, Aerosmith and Sweet.
Bret Michael Sychak Born March 15 in Butler, PA
In May of 1994, a car wreck left him with a broken nose, broken ribs, broken upper jaw, broken fingers, and also broke out four front teeth. Overcoming this, sex tape scandals, and a stalker, Bret continues to get out there and rock hard.
With good friend Charlie Sheen, Bret formed a movie production company called "Sheen/Michaels Entertainment". Bret is not only POISON's front man, but also an actor. You may have seen some of his work in the movie "A Letter From Death Row", which he not only starred in, but he also produced and wrote the soundtrack. He has even been on TV shows such as "Burke's Law".
Bret is the only musician in history to successfully write, direct, executive produce, camera operate, perform his own stunts, score, and star in as well as record a complete soundtrack. Bret also has a country music career in addition to POISON and has solo albums for that as well. Check out his website for tour dates and fan club information as well as his other projects.

4 Luv of Bret
To me, Bret is the wildest of the band. That is what is so attractive about him. I, like most women, love a wild child. But even with his rowdiness, he is a wonderful father who loves his daughter, Raine, more than anything in the world. That itself is very attractive. Please visit his website along with the other fan sites so you can get a better look at this wild, wonderful and loving man.
"You've got to pace yourself, even though I'm a person who likes excess"
"I don't think our looks made us famous. I think it helped. If I hadn't made it, I don't know what I'd done. My ultimate horror is playing in bars with people not really caring"
