We will evaluate two different writing skills:

  1. Your ability to present information, plot, or argument effectively
  2. Your ability to use and edit the language properly

That first item is clearly more important than the second. We assume that any good piece of work can be edited by a competent professional. We also have a Jewish Editing group that deals with those skills.

However, we cannot ignore the technical aspects. Don't destroy your excellent story line by sending us material that has not been reviewed properly.

Here's a tip:

Check out the issues that we will evaluate. Many of them are listed at Guidelines and Formatting before submitting your manuscript. Be sure that you will score well on each of the points in those articles.
