General guidelines

It will be easier to survive Jewish Writing if all of us follow the same guidelines. Let's set the ground rules in these documents.

Length

How long should your submitted document be?

Although we don't want to make hard and fast guidelines, we don't want your document to be too lengthy. It's better to work on a brief document that everybody can "swallow" than to have a lengthy magnum opus that people will put aside until they can get to it....

As a rough guideline, the document should usually be no more than 300 words in length. No, we're not going to be petty. We're not going to count words. However, you should keep this guideline in mind.
