Jewish Writing
Format

Documents come in different flavors. Your computer consultant can explain them to you.

At this point, however, all you have to know is the following:

  1. We must work in a format that everybody in the Jewish Writing group can read with ease
  2. We must work with a format that will not spread viruses
  3. We must work in a format that can be read on a website

You probably knew the first two points. They may even be obvious to you.

The last point may be a bit terrifying. You don't know how to create a website, and you do not intend to learn website design. How will you survive the Jewish Writing group?

Relax. You don't have to know much. Everything you need to know can not only be learned in kindergarten, but also in a few seconds.

We will help you. Our instructions on how to post to Jewish Writing and a second article, with instructions for posting to our website both explain how to post things to the Jewish Writing forum and the critiquing group.

Those pages even explain how to deal with the situation if you're terrified and can't possibly learn how to post. They will also help us maintain a uniform format.
