What Do You See?
What do you see when you look at me?
What do you think of the image I present?
It's all a lie, a confusion, a screen
I hide what's really inside
The things that are important
The things that matter most
Do you know what they are?
Do you know what they mean to me?
You say you understand me
But how can you when
I can not
I do not know what I could be
I lack the faith you have in me
Do you see a truth I am blind to?
Do you hear the things left unsaid
when I try to express, to explain
all that I hide?
What do you see when you look at me?
