I fear the change
my words might bring
I fear the thought
that you might turn away
You know all I have to say
So why do I fear
What you already know
I have nothing to lose
Nothing to gain
I know your answer
do I know your soul?
It's so hard to say it all
When I look in your eyes
I see everything I want
everything I need
I can't risk it all
my mind knows you'll stay
but my heart feels the pain
I wish I could say it
just to make it clear
but I can't talk to you
not about this
not about the way
you make me feel
So I say it here
and hope you'll see
the truth in my eyes
in my heart, in my soul
I love you.
