Since its inception in 1985, the United States Basketball League has provided opportunities not only for players, more than 100 of whom have gone on to play - and in some cases star -- in the NBA, but for coaches, owners, fans, management and sponsors, to participate in a league which is truly unique on the professional sports scene.

Since the inception of "The League of Opportunity" in 1985, there have been 130 USBL alumni to go on and play in the NBA. Among the many alumni are Tyrone "Muggsy" Bogues, Chris Childs, Mario Elie, Avery Johnson, Charlie Ward and John "Hot Rod" Williams.

The USBL is the first and only publicly traded sports league allowing fans to become owners. The USBL Web Site at http://www.usbl.com has team information, player statistics and all recent league announcements.

As the only summer professional basketball league, the USBL provides an exciting, affordable brand of basketball for fans, a chance to see the stars of tomorrow playing today, and, as a publicly-traded company, a unique opportunity for investors looking to participate in the world of professional sports.

The commissioner and chairman of the USBL is Daniel T. Meisenheimer, III. USBL headquarters are located in Milford, Connecticut.
