WSRN announced that it will be broadcasting select Long Island Surf games exclusively over the Internet.

LONG ISLAND TIPS OFF AGAINST PENNSYLVANIA

The Long Island Surf will tip off the 16th annual USBL season against the Pennsylvania Valley Dawgs. The Surf finished last season in third place with a 15-15 record. The Valley Dawgs coached by former NBA star Darryl Dawkins finished in first place in the Northern Division. Both teams were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs.


SURF WIN OPENER OVER MARYLAND

Eric Coates scored 22 points to help the Surf to a 93-80 win over the Robert Parish coached Maryland Mustangs. Monroe Pippins added 16 points and 4 assists in the victory.
