The United States Basketball League, Inc. has developed a new store format
for its fans at its web site. This new development will allow visitors to
the USBL web site to see all merchandise in more detail along with USBL collectibles.
The objective of this new store is to provide easier access for fans and to
increase the e-commerce revenue at the web site.
Because of the increase in visitors to the USBL web site during this, the 15th Anniversary season, the USBL has expanded its inventory of USBL and team merchandise. They have also simplified the order process for purchases.
The increase in attendance at and overall interest in the USBL has risen dramatically from fans and investors, and therefore, the USBL, Inc. is developing more plans for the League including new expansion cities, and opportunities in international markets. The USBL is excited about the dramatic increase in fans for the 2000 season and the tremendous increase in hits to the USBL web site. The months of April and May saw a combined 65% increase in USBL web site users from last year and June's prospects are looking great with the upcoming Post-Season Festival.
Management believes the excitement of the 15th season, the new markets, and better overall marketing of the USBL has caused the sellout crowds and the overwhelming response from new fans for more information on the League, and all aspects of its business including requests for 13 applications for new teams.
