(11/18/00) Four new USBL alums appear on NBA Rosters. Mark Blount (New Jersey ShoreCats to the Boston Celtics) and Reggie Slater (Oklahoma Storm to the Minnesota Timberwolves) both of which played during the USBL 15th Anniversary Season. Blount was named to All-USBL First Team and USBL All-Defensive Team for the 2000 season. Jamal Robinson went to the Miami Heat after playing for the Tampa Bay Windjammers in 1999. Former Atlantic City Seagulls 1999 champion Garth Joseph made the jump to the Toronto Raptors.
Twenty-three former USBL players appear on NBA Rosters. Included in this group were four new players who made the jump from USBL to the NBA for the first time. The addition of the three new players brings the total tally of 129 players to go from USBL to NBA since 1985. Among the number of Alumni are Avery Johnson, Muggsy Bogues, Anthony Mason, Chris Childs, Charlie Ward, Mario Elie, Adrian Griffin and Darrell Armstrong.
