now, this is an interesting story...almost like eric gagne's. ishi had been coming in quite a lot. he even came in with kida a few times, but we never knew who he was. the night of there last game, which was also the night before they were supposed to leave vero, he came in with one of his friends (who i think was also a coworker) and did a VERY big to go order. it was then that we found out he was ishi - pitcher for the l.a. dodgers... it was pretty funny actually. his friend was informing me that they were going to be leaving and that they'd definitely be back next spring training...it didn't really make sense until i found out who they were...then i felt kinda stupid (which is a feeling i'm used to... =).
