howdy doody folks! so you wanna know more about me, eh? well, in case you haven't figured it out already, my name is samantha. some of my friends call me sammy...some call me sam...and then you have some that call me 'hey bobo!' i'm not sure which i like best. they all have a nice ring to 'em. =)

right now i'm 19 years old and i'm currently living in vero beach, fl. i graduated high school in 2003 and haven't started college yet. my dad is retired military, so i've traveled a little bit...i've lived in turkey and germany and have visited paris. my mom is from thailand (which is where she met my dad) and comes from a VERY big family (12 brothers and sisters). my family opened a japanese restaurant about 4 years ago and i work there as a waitress/cashier/hostess/cook/sushi chef/dishwasher. it all depends on what day it is... =)

i don't really do a lot in my spare time. if i'm not working i'm either watching movies, listening to music, trying to cook/bake something that (more often than not) doesn't come out right, or doing all three (weird, i know - but it has been known to happen). i spend a lot of my time at wal-mart, too. probably a little too much. i don't think it's healthy to spend so much time there. i mean, i practically live there. they should just, like, ya know put a bed right smack dab in the middle of the electronics section for me. okay, so maybe i'm exaggerating a little. but just a little!

i also like to try my hand at making crafts. my project right now is cross-stiching. i gotta tell ya - with the exception of the massive migraine that forms from looking at those tiny little squares and trying to make sure you get the right color, in the right one, in the right spot...it's a very fun thing to do. i really like working on puzzles too. but the one i was working on last, got messed up during hurricane frances when our house was flooded. =( i forgot to pick it up off the floor and when i came home, i was greeted with about a gazillion puzzle pieces spread throughout my bedroom. let me tell ya - THAT was fun cleaning up. <-- **note: read with a sarcastic tone**
