cabrera was another dodger that used to come out to eat almost every day. he would come in with his wife all the time. there was one night when we went to one of their spring training games and as soon as it was over jen and i headed back to the restaurant because we were supposed to work that night. i kid you not - just a few minutes later, cabrera, his wife, two kids, and his mom came in. i guess he built up an appetite playing ball...

sadly, however - the dodgers traded cabrera the following season. on his last visit, one of the things we overheard his wife say to him about a sushi roll they were eating was, "they should call this roll the jolbert roll 'cause you order it so much."
