| Updates October 21, 2004 Having developed a strange obsession with A. E. Housman, I've uploaded four of his best poems to the site. Housman has such a unique, emotional style of poetry that I just adore; I hope wou will too. I finally added two of my own poems that were previously broken links, "Sea of Fate" and "Poetry Girl". I've also fixed the link problem; it seems that the link to "Hope is a thing with feathers" actually led to "The Tyger" Thanks for the tip, Morgan! I've also fixed, I hope, all the spelling and grammatical mistakes found around the site, and I've finally created a links page with links to some of my favorite web comics. February 1, 2004 Welcome to the new year and Version 2! The theme is from a poem by T. S. Eliot called 'The Hollow Men', which you can view over there <----. I'm still working out the kinks, and it will probably take a couple of days to create all the new poem pages, but I hope *crosses fingers* it will work out in the end. Enjoy all the new poetry! August 3, 2003 Wow, I must unintentionally update this every 6 months. Anyway, I have two new poems; Mad Girl's Love Song and Morbid Child. I'm an old fan of Sylvia Plath's so I immediately liked . But Morbid Child; I have no idea where I got it or whose it is. It was just wandering around my hard drive, and I decided to put it on the internet, since I Google said it didn't exist. If it yours, just e-mail me, an I'll give you credit or take it off if you want. December 11, 2002 Now lookee there, 3 new poems! The Ballad of Reading Gaol, an extremely long but worth-it poem, The Fairy Child, a sad and mysterious one, and scar tissue, an amazing poem by V. A. Whitecrow. December 9, 2002 New Link: Visit my Deadjournal, it's pretty! *pause* Okay, maybe not, but it will make me a happy girl to think that people actally visit my journal. New page: What's new, a page to put updates on instead of squeezing them all on the front page. December 2, 2002 YAY! HOORAH! YIPPEE! And so on. Thanks to a certain 'la tigresse', I was able to get the first couple lines of the poem "The Dead Faith" and found it somehow on the internet! *very happy* Also, the whole site redesign thingy is finally finished! What do you think? August 11, 2002 Still working *hums while beating computer with stick* Anybody know about a poem called "The Dead Faith"? I can't find it anywhere on the internet :( July 29, 2002 I'm Nobody, who are you? By Emily Dickinson added. Also working on changing the setup, as you can see, so each poem can be viewed individually through a link from the main page. Hopefully will work.............. July 17, 2002 Two new poems up today: The Garden of Proserpine and The Valley of Unrest. Savor them as I do. One more, The Wheelgoround by Robert Claimont. Very obscure and kind of disturbing. April 30, 2002 Two new poems, one by Emily Dickinson, short but sweet, and another by Edgar Allen Poe, another of the fav's. Sometime around February 2002. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, I put up my first poem!!! Its near the bottom of the page, called "Eye"!!! :). I also have a "work in progress" called....well I'm not sure yet, but its hopefully going to be good, ;) |
