Sea of Fate
Through wild, wet waves I follow thee
Thrashing, crashing, like the sea
And when I reach thee, safety folds
Around us, bright with loyalty.

But waves are telling tales of old,
Of promise, power, control, the bold
Men who hurt the ones they love, not heard
By defiant ears, love-kept from cold.

And to your shoulder I was spurred
But upon your face play fearful words
And in me flickers a spark of doubt.
And outside waves of portend surge.
