The Forgotten
Episode Thirty-Four
Over Flame closed the door to the throne room and the three looked around. What they saw was a slight surprise. They saw nothing.

TARN: Why do I feel like this is such a big let down? We just said th-

Tarn was interrupted by a voice that seemed to resonate from the entire room.

VOICE: More like YOURE a big let down, dork!

AXEM OVER FLAME: Why oh why must I be put through this? Is everyone that has anything to do with Iondross this dumb?

SECOND VOICE: Is everyone that has anything to do with YOU this dumb?

VOICE: Did I tell you to speak? NO! You must pay for your insolence!

A scream was heard, followed by a loud thud. Inferno and Over Flame exchanged glances.

Suddenly, an Axem materialized in front of them. It was the same Axem that was seen in Episode 28. He was twirling an axe in his hands. One Goomba raced into the room from a side passage and stood next to him.

AXEM OVER FLAME: So youre this dude we need to fight, right?

AXEM THUNDER ELEMENTAL: You foolish thing. Do you realize whom youre talking to? Im the Emperor of the Iondross Empire. You should bow before me now, or Ill have you executed.

AXEM OVER FLAME: Ohhh, big scary guy. Youve got so much power and control here. Its not like theres an army walking through your streets or anything

AXEM THUNDER ELEMENTAL: SHUT UP!

Thunder Elemental rose both of his hands and aimed one at each Axem. Two thunderbolts fired out of his hands at an insane speed. Over Flame tried to dodge by dropping to the ground, but he was caught in the chin and lost 65 HP. Inferno barely had time to blink before he was nailed in the chest. He lost only 50 HP. The Goomba started to charge towards Tarn.

TARN: I dont think so!

Lightening fast (no pun intended), Tarn drew out his Kipels. One took down the Goomba (he had way less than 300 HP), and he spun to fire at Thunder Elemental. Thunder Elemental was already firing a Thunder Sphere at the Toad. Tarn pulled the trigger at the millisecond of impact, thus causing the Kipel blast to be firing while the Kipel was hit with a jolt (major understatement) of electricity. The Kipel started to shake violently.

TARN: What the heck is going on?

AXEM THUNDER ELEMENTAL: I couldnt let you do that, now could I? Now youre going down by your own gun, ha!

Tarn realized that Thunder Elemental was right: the Kipel was going to blow. He started to throw it away from him, but as he it left his hand it exploded. Tarn was flung hard into the wall and he dropped to the ground. The Axems all took varying damage, according to their proximity to the explosion and defensive capabilities (which includes the fact that the fire part didnt harm Inferno or Over Flame).

AXEM INFERNO 405/500

AXEM OVER FLAME 555/675

AXEM THUNDER ELEMENTAL 340/550

All three Axems were lying on the floor.

AXEM OVER FLAME: Whoa Did anyone catch the number of that bus?

He rose to his feet, as did Inferno. However, for some unknown reason, Thunder Elemental was lying on the ground, not moving, not even to breathe.

AXEM OVER FLAME: What? That explosion couldnt have killed him, it wasnt nearly strong enough

AXEM INFERNO: I dont know what happened. Maybe we should just reduce his HP to zero just to be sure

They walked up to within 15 feet of Thunder Elemental, and fired off some attacks at the carcass. When the smoke cleared (fire tends to cause smoke you know) there was no carcass. As the shock registered on the two, both felt a tap on their shoulder. They turned to face each other and in between them was a rather bright (remember, he is glowing a purple color) Thunder Elemental, minus 30 HP. Small purple lightening bolts were radiating out from him. Inferno and Over Flame were hit by several before they got out of reach of them. Axem Over Flame was down another 155 HP, and Inferno lost 125.

AXEM THUNDER ELEMENTAL: I hated having to sacrifice that 30 HP to teleport, but it was worth it.

Inferno threw his axe at Thunder Elemental who just ducked. Over Flame caught the axe and threw it back at him, along with his own axe. One was about neck level, with the other around the knees. This time Thunder Elemental jumped up and went horizontal, between the two axes. The back of his leg got a minor nick, and he lost 30 HP. He completed a back flip and landed on his feet. Inferno caught one axe, but the other drove into his chest, causing him to take 75 damage.

AXEM THUNDER ELEMENTAL: Ive got to get you out of the fight; youve got too much HP.

He said this to Over Flame. He dodged the Oriki Blast that was coming at him and fired off a large black lightening bolt at Over Flame, which he followed up with another about 5 seconds later. Over Flame dodged neither and lost 300 HP.

AXEM INFERNO 205/500

AXEM OVER FLAME 100/675

AXEM THUNDER ELEMENTAL 280/550

Before he could finish off Over Flame, he was hit in the back by two slices, which caused him to lose 200 HP. He responded by firing off four small yellow orbs (the Thunder Spheres) out of his hands and dashing away. Inferno lost 40 HP, and the other two Spheres missed. Thunder Elemental used the few seconds he had to perform his healing move, Recharge, twice. His purple aura flashed blue twice, and he regained 100 HP.

AXEM OVER FLAME: Inferno, Ill use Stoke.

A misty yellow cloud rushed from Over Flames hands and he lost 75 HP. However, the yellow cloud settled over Inferno and made the flames around him rush higher. It was like someone hadwell stoked a fire.

AXEM INFERNO: I feel good.

He quickly flexed his muscles, feeling the increased power that Stoke gives to a fire Axem. He tossed Over Flames axe back to him.

AXEM OVER FLAME: Quick, heal each other!

They fired off some fire orbs at each other. Unfortunately, most of the rejuvenating effects were canceled by the purple Kinetic Bolts that were hitting them as they attempted to heal. Inferno and Over Flame each gained 50 HP. They turned to face Thunder Elemental, but he was gone. They spun around and he was only feet away from them. He fired some Thunder Spheres into Over Flames face, causing just enough damage to KO him. Inferno slashed him with his axe. Thunder Elemental lost a whopping 175 HP, as a combined factor of Stoke and Thunder Elementals naturally low defense. Inferno lost 15 HP from the lightning bolts diffusing from Thunder Elemental.

AXEM INFERNO 200/500

AXEM OVER FLAME 0/675 KOd

AXEM THUNDER ELEMENTAL 5/550

AXEM THUNDER ELEMENTAL: AHH!

He sped away from Inferno, which was easy since his speed triples Infernos. He darted behind a column and healed himself. He could only perform Recharge once, having used up too much electrical energy for further use. He regained 50 HP.

AXEM THUNDER ELEMENTAL (thinking): This isnt going well. Perhaps I shouldnt have KOd that other Goomba. Ah well, I guess Ill have to use Magnetic Field, although it will make me very vulnerable to defeat.

The entire throne room suddenly had a golden glow, which quickly died away. Inferno felt tingly. Thunder Elemental lost 50 HP to do this move, but he could now do more damage to Inferno and had slightly increased electrical abilities.

AXEM INFERNO: You wont win. Your HP is way too low.

Inferno came around the column and raised his axe to slash Thunder Elemental. As he was coming down the axe flew out of his hand and hit Inferno instead. Inferno lost 50 HP.

AXEM INFERNO: What?

AXEM THUNDER ELEMENTAL: Hooray for Magnetism!

He ran away again and ducked under a Flame Orb. He turned around and saw a huge (another understatement) beam of flame coming at him.

AXEM THUNDER ELEMENTAL: Uh-oh.

He tried, unsuccessfully, to heal himself.

AXEM THUNDER ELEMENTAL (thinking): I cant get out of the way of that without teleporting

He tried again to heal himself. This time he regained 30 HP, which he immediately sacrificed to teleport out of the way. When he reappeared behind Inferno, he shot a Thunderbolt into his back. It caused 35 damage (Stoke and Magnetic Field in effect). The beam of fire hit one of the columns and melted the base of it. It began to collapse.

NOTE: The damage of the battle in Episode 10 was repaired.

The door to the throne room opened. A bluish Axem stepped in. Unfortunately for him, the column slammed down right in front of him and KOd him.

FLASHBACK:

AXEM STRIFE: You guys hold them off. Ill go help with Thunderuhwhats his name

Strife entered the room where Tarn, Inferno, and Over Flame had gone in Episode 31. The Koopas got into position to defend the door.

AXEM THUNDER ELEMENTAL 5/550

AXEM THUNDER ELEMENTAL: Ouch. That cant feel good. Anyway, bye!

He ran in a circle around Inferno and used Magnetism to make Infernos axe slash him again. Inferno lost another 50 HP. Inferno couldnt spin fast enough catch Thunder Elemental, so he stopped and stuck out his arm. Thunder Elemental was running right into it. He had too much momentum to just stop, but he tried. His upper body fell backwards, and his legs continued forward. He then preformed a flip and landed upright. He had the axe slash Inferno, leaving him with only 15 HP. Thunder Elemental stood facing Inferno.

AXEM THUNDER ELEMENTAL: Looks like you lose. Youre not quic-

Inferno tired to hit with a Flame Orb, but Thunder Elemental just dodged.

AXEM THUNDER ELEMENTAL: That wasnt nice, dont try it again. My Thunderbolt is much faster than that pathetic attack. I have won. Iondross has won. GLORY TO THE EMPIRE! VICTO-

Suddenly, Thunder Elemental feel forward, KOd.

AXEM INFERNO: What the?

PRESENT:

NOTE: Note the fact that there is no KOd in that portion of the text.

TARN: More like WE have won, dork!

AXEM INFERNO: You need to stop listening to these Iondrossers. Theyve got the worse comebacks ever!

TARN: Stupid guy, he couldnt take a little bonk over the head with a piece of stone. What a loser!

NOTE: Axem Snow still does not notice any resemblance between JAMEYS GREAT BOOK OF COMEBACK JOKES and this episode.
