| AXEM ICE: Nope, I can�t cry. The tears would freeze. How about you? Gonna cry? Both Axem H�0 and Axem Great Water dove to the ground as the Ice Orbs that Axem Ice had shot at them flew overhead. The quickly regained their feet. AXEM H�0: You�d think you realize that we know you�re going to do that. AXEM ICE: So? It�s still funny! Axem Great Water growled and ran forward to clash axes with Ice. After a few seconds Ice managed to slash Great Water. The axe passed right through him. AXEM ICE: Huh? AXEM GREAT WATER: I used Liquify. It makes me immune to physical attacks. NOTE: Great Water used this technique in the last episode at the same time that Inferno used Blazer, when they were about to be squashed by the pillar. AXEM ICE: Oh�ah well. You�re still water! He punched Great Water in the stomach. No physical damage resulted, but because of the severe coldness of Ice�s body, Great Water lost 30 HP. AXEM INFERNO 0/500 KO�ed AXEM ICE 280/500 AXEM GREAT WATER 175/490 AXEM H�0 50/500 NOTE: Inferno was KO�ed in the last episode. He is lying unconscious on the ground. AXEM GREAT WATER (thinking): I better get rid of Liquify. It is making me too vulnerable to his ice based attacks. NOTE: Liquify makes Great Water take extra damage from ice attacks. Great Water flashed blue and his body became solid again. He and Ice continued to use their axes against each other. Ice got a cut across his arm. He lost 50 HP. H�0 shot two water orbs at the pair of them. One hit Great Water, who regained 50 HP, and one hit Ice who lost 33 HP. Ice slashed Great Water in the leg and he lost 50 HP. He then grabbed his body and threw him to the other side of the room. Great Water lost 25 HP from hitting the floor. Ice shot an Ice Wall at H�0. It was very large and fast, but very weak. H�0 could not avoid it and lost 45 HP. AXEM H�0: Great Water! We need to heal! Great Water flipped to his feet. He shot a few Water Orbs at H�0, who shot a Water Stream at him. Ice looked at the attacks as they flew at each other. AXEM ICE (thinking): I need to stop them from healing! ELAPSE PLACE: On the streets of Aquador: The soldiers of H�0 were battling with the citizens. The citizens were rebelling because they heard of H�0�s true intentions. The battle had been going on for almost 30 minutes. AXEM RAIN 235/600 AXEM RAIN: AQUADOR!!! He then slashed one of the soldiers. The armor protected him from most of the blow, but he still lost some HP. Rain pounded on his helmet with his axe. He fell to the ground, KO�ed. A tall soldier ran up to Axem Rain, after killing a Koopa. He had some water drops shaped symbols on his helmet, which symbolized his rank. He was the highest-ranking soldier. He glared at Rain. SOLDIER: You will pay for joining the rebels. AXEM RAIN: They are not rebels. They are the loyal people. SOLDIER: SMITHY!!! With that battle cry, he launched himself at Rain. He had incredible skills with the saber he was carrying. He could not beat Rain�s skills with an axe, however. Neither of them could manage to harm the other one. Suddenly a Goomba landed on top of the soldier�s head and knocked him over. Rain shot a stream of water into the soldier�s helmet. He was KO�d. Rain looked around and realized that the battle was over. All of the soldiers were defeated or had surrendered. He looked at the Goomba who had helped him. AXEM RAIN: Come on, we need to go to the palace. They took off running to the palace. ELAPSE PLACE: In the throne room: AXEM ICE (thinking) I�ve got it! Axem Ice pointed his fingers to the air above him. The temperature there dropped to well below zero degrees. When the attacks of the two water Axems passed through that area, they froze. H�0 and Great Water saw this just before the attacks hit them, so they both lost 130 HP. AXEM ICE 197/500 AXEM GREAT WATER 20/490 AXEM H�0 0/500 KO�ed H�0�s body turned to water and flew to the ground. It slid towards the door, which was downhill. When it reached there it went down the hall. The hall was slanted uphill. Neither of the two conscious Axems noticed this. AXEM ICE: I�ve got nearly ten times your HP! Gonna cry? Great Water jumped to the side and landed on his stomach, but no Ice Orb had been fired at him. He looked up and saw one flying at the spot where he was lying. He rolled over onto his back and batted the Orb away. It hit a lamp that was on the wall, sent burning oil all over the orb, and melted. The water dropped down. Great Water got up and sprinted under the falling water. He healed 50 HP. AXEM ICE: Ha! And you said I was dumb! I tricked you pretty good, didn�t I? AXEM GREAT WATER: So? It didn�t hurt me at all. AXEM ICE: Hmm�good point. They ran towards each other and did some amazing feats with their axes. After a moment or two, Ice was hit and lost 50 HP. AXEM ICE 147/500 AXEM GREAT WATER 70/490 AXEM GREAT WATER: Not so far ahead now, are you? AXEM ICE: Nope, but I�m still ahead! They continued to block, parry, thrust, and do all sorts of tricks with their axes. Great Water once again slashed Ice, but this time it was a stronger, more direct hit. He lost 75 HP. AXEM GREAT WATER: Ha! Our HP�s are practically the same! AXEM ICE (thinking): This isn�t working. He�s a better axe handler than I am. AXEM GREAT WATER: Not so confident now are you? If I�m not mistaken that�s doubt in your eyes! Ice was looking around for some way to get out of the situation. AXEM ICE (thinking): I need to do something else�Ah-ha! That�s perfect. Ice started battling with a newfound strength. He still couldn�t slash Great Water, but he did drive him backwards. Great Water was forced to back up, step by step. Suddenly he tripped over something. He fell onto his back. Ice shot an Ice Orb into his stomach while he was falling. He lost all of his HP. Ice kneeled down next to Great Water�s and Inferno�s bodies. He pulled out two Ultra Shrooms. AXEM ICE: Good job buddy. Without you tripping him at the end I don�t think I would�ve won. He popped an Ultra Shroom into Inferno�s mouth, and ate one himself. They both regained their entire amount of HP. Inferno woke up and looked around. He saw Great Water�s body and smiled. The smile turned to a frown when he saw that H�0 wasn�t there as well. AXEM INFERNO: Did H�0 get away? AXEM ICE: No, he was KO�ed. He�s right there�Well, he was right there. Just then a Goomba and an Axem showed up at the door. AXEM RAIN: Where�s H�0? AXEM ICE: Oh hello Rain, I haven�t seen you in quite a few years. I�m not sure where H�0 went� How come you didn�t call him king? AXEM RAIN: He�s been overthrown for supporting Smithy. Both Inferno�s and Ice�s eyebrows shot up. AXEM RAIN: Did you KO him? At Ice�s nod he continued. AXEM RAIN: He can turn into water and travel around when KO�ed. That must be what he did. AXEM INFERNO: So he got away? AXEM RAIN: Unfortunately it seems like he did. A loud rumble shook the room. They all ran to a window and looked out. They saw a blade rising up and flying into the sky. AXEM ICE: That�s H�0�s blade, isn�t it? AXEM RAIN: Yes. Hopefully it took off because the take over attempt failed and not because H�0 ordered it to. Both of the other two Axems nodded. AXEM INFERNO: So the Toad managed to warn the people. AXEM RAIN: Yes he did. Inferno, our people owe you a debt of gratitude. You discovered the plot that H�0 had and helped defeat him. If you hadn�t come, he would have taken over the planet without much resistance, because it would�ve been too late. I think there will be no problem in getting the Assemblies to agree that you should be crowned King. AXEM INFERNO: Thank you�but I can�t. It�s just that this place has way too much water for my liking. I wouldn�t be able to stay here for much more than a few weeks, if that. AXEM RAIN: I understand� If you will not accept the crown as a gift of our gratitude, how about a different crown? There is another planet in our solar system. It will be perfect for you. It is full of volcanoes and is much closer to our sun. You should love the incredibly warm environment. Would you like to control Pyrodor? AXEM INFERNO: Pyrodor, huh? I like the sound of that. Are you sure the people there wouldn�t mind me being King? I don�t think that�s a good idea either. AXEM RAIN: There is currently no one living there. AXEM INFERNO: Oh. I don�t want to be King, but I would like to be able to visit that planet and build a place to live there, with your permission of course. AXEM RAIN: Of course you have it. I still think the people will consider you a king though. Ice, you also deserve our gratitude. What can we offer you? AXEM ICE: How about you just let me come here without trying to kill me or run away just because I happen to have an elemental advantage over just about everyone here? Axem Rain laughed. AXEM RAIN: Of course. I�ll see to it that you get honorary treatment from now on. And for something extra, I�ll get that warrant for you removed. Inferno�s eyes widened in surprise. AXEM INFERNO: Warrant? AXEM ICE: Let�s just say that I�accidentally�hit the previous King with an Ice Orb, after a heated discussion over the way he treated some races that he considered weaker. Apparently that bordered on an assassination attempt or something, and I was sort of not supposed to come here with a weapon ever again. Or without someone carrying a flame-weapon escorting me either. Inferno grinned and shook his head. AXEM INFERNO: Accidentally? Ice feigned astonishment. AXEM ICE: Of course! End of Episode 10 |
