| NOTE: This takes place about an hour and half after the battle. The Axems, along with Tarn, are seated along a table. On the middle of the table is a map of Aquador, with little figurines on it that represented troops. The Iondrosser forces were represented by yellow, Aquadorian was blue, Pyrodorian was red, and Bob�s forces were green. There were a few yellow figurines at one end of the island. They were completely surrounded by the other colors. AXEM OVER FLAME: Reminds me of �Risk�. TARN: �Risk?� AXEM OVER FLAME: An Earth board game. Over Flame explained Risk to Tarn while the rest continued to talk about the battle. AXEM INFERNO: Well, looks like we won. Just charge in and we�ve got victory. AXEM STRIFE: This was a relatively easy battle, but remember, it�s just that: a battle. This is not the entire Iondrosser army. AXEM INFERNO: And how much larger would the army actually be? AXEM RAIN: Well, until now, they haven�t been much of a problem. They seemed to keep to themselves, although they were always greedy� AXEM STRIFE: Because of this, we do not know the true size of their army. They recruit people from the worlds they conquer, so it could be very large. It is at least 4 times what we saw today. AXEM INFERNO (thinking): Whoa. I guess Rain was right when he said �except for military matters.� Strife doesn�t seem even slightly unintelligent. A messenger ran in and moved some of the figurines. All of the yellow ones were removed from the table. Tarn and Over Flame stopped talking about Risk. AXEM OVER FLAME: Hey, we won. Yahoo! AXEM INFERNO: Uh�yeah. Anyway, what are we gong to do with Thunder Elemental? AXEM RAIN: We�ve got a few �Mobitron Distortion Chambers�. AXEM INFERNO: What�s a �Mobitron�? AXEM RAIN: The tiny piece of an atom that is mobile and flies around the edge. AXEM INFERNO: Oh, they were called electrons on Earth. AXEM OVER FLAME (thinking): Ugh�so bored� need entertainment� AXEM RAIN: Anyway, these chambers will render electric types powerless by the use of an electromagnetic field. AXEM STRIFE: So basically, it�s good for�what�s-his-name, right? AXEM RAIN: Yeah, pretty much. Some noise arose in the streets. They got up and looked out the window. A parade was going down the street, with Toads, Koopas, Goombas, and Axems all dancing and rejoicing. AXEM RAIN: Well, they got over that quick, but we need to prevent this from happening again. AXEM STRIFE: They used your weakness to electric types to attack, so we�ll just leave some Axems from Bob that aren�t electric. Rain nodded. AXEM INFERNO: Simple enough. TARN: We should not let this go unpunished. We should launch an attack of our own. AXEM STRIFE: Yes; that is a sound military decision. However, soldiers are best when they get some rest. Let�s wait a little while before we launch our counterattack. AXEM RAIN: Okay�I will stress the point that we do make a counterattack though. AXEM STRIFE: We will. Rain nodded and a smile spread across his face. A similar expression was on Over Flame�s face. AXEM OVER FLAME: We should interon- interrogaba- interrogate the captives and see if we can get some info on Iondross. MESSENGER: Sorry sir, but most of the Iondrossers committed suicide rather than be captured. In fact, besides a few who were knocked unconscious, they all either died one way or another. AXEM RAIN: We will try, but it is unfortunate that only a few are available. AXEM INFERNO: Well, let�s get some rest ourselves� NOTE: Dusk had fallen by this time. AXEM STRIFE: Great idea. AXEM OVER FLAME: I third it! They all marched off to their lodging for the night, to sleep off the weariness caused by the battles. ELAPSE TIME: The next morning: AXEM INFERNO: Farewell. We�ll see you in three weeks to plan the attack. AXEM RAIN: Those Iondrossers won�t know what hit them� AXEM OVER FLAME: Hopefully defeating them won�t take long� The Pyrodorians said goodbye to the Aquadorians, and then marched through the Arch, back to their own world. NOTE: The people from Bob (excluding those staying behind to guard) had already gone home. End of Episode 35 |
