Carlene Sykes Robertson,
82 years of age, of Jordan Lane,Portsmouth, Virginia. died Oct. 27, 2005.
Born in Norfolk County, she was the widow of Jesse L. Robertson Sr.
She was a member of First Baptist Church West Norfolk and Queen of Sheba No. 28, Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include five daughters, four sons, two sisters, five brothers, 26 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church West Norfolk by the Rev. Lorenzo Akins. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge. Viewing will begin at noon Monday.
Family and friends will be at 608 Jefferson St., Apt. I. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Condolences may be offered at www.fisherfuneral.com.
