                            Jery Octavianus    World Is In Your Hand

Hi, my name is Jery Octavianus. I was born on 29th of October 1997 in Gajah Mati Village. I live with my family. I am the 3rd children who has 1 brother and two sisters. My father is a rubber farmer and my mother is a seller in her small shop at once also as a housewife. My older sister is a civil cervant in Bangka Tengah, she is as a nurse in a general hospital in Koba Regency. My older brother just now graduated from his faculty and has not got job. My younger sister is still in Junior High School now.

Previously, I was graduated from SMP N 6 Sekayu. In this school, I have a lot of achievements, such as 1st winner Try Out for Junior High School Regency Level,3rd winner of GSC Try Out, 3rd winner of make and read poem, top 3 rank at when I was grade 9, Participant of LPI (Liga Pendidikan Indonesia), and participant of LKIR (Lomba Karya Tulis Ilmiah Remaja) which held by LIPI in National Level.

I feel very lucky to be the scholarship of SMA N Sumatera Selatan (Sampoerna Academy) where I can get a new experience, sharpen and explore a lot of my skills. I love sport and also science. At the moment, I am joining Pencak Silat Club and being as a fighter. I have joined many of Pencak Silat activities, such as went to SMP N 52 for friendly match. In this school, I also explore my hobies to make a scientific writing and also I have wrote some scientific writings for some competitions.

I also enjoyed living in dormitory  and studying in this school. Here, there are some different methods for students to study and live here. This school is exactly different with my previous school. I am still adapting in this school and I have not shown my great skills yet, as a result I have not got many of achievements, anyway I will keep trying and do my big effort to get achievements. So for future it can help me reach my goal that is to become a scientist.

I really want to be a scientist because scientist is a great job in the future and I hope I can make an invention for human which useful for them. I want to work in a big laboratory. And by study hard here, I believe I can make my dreams come true and make my family proud to me.
