DIRECTORS
Indochina Minerals Limited brings together a team of people with expertise in all aspects of the minerals industry and experience in doing business in Asia. Members of this team have worked together in the past and have a track record of successful project development and converting project success into shareholder wealth. This experience includes the successful development globally of seven mines and numerous exploration projects in a number of public entities as well as over US$1 billion raised in equity & debt markets.
All the people involved have invested their own funds into the Company and are committed to applying their expertise, energy and experience into creating wealth for themselves and other Indochina investors.
The team includes the following:
Robert Pett – Executive Director
Minerals Economist, over 25 years experience in the exploration, development and financing of resource projects and the building of successful public mining companies. Has overseen the successful development of over 10 mining projects worldwide including Gold and Nickel mines in Australia and Gold mines in East and West Africa.
Ma Bo Ping – Executive Director
Ma Bo Ping Mining Engineer, MBA was the Managing Director of the Shanghai listed arm of China National Gold Corporation (CNGC) Zhongjin Gold Corporation. Zhongjin Gold was the first publicity listed gold company in China’s stock market. Previously he was Chief Financial Officer of CNGC, involved in project evaluations and assessments for China’s largest gold producing company.
Mr Ma has experience in all facets of project development and numerous government and industry contacts, he is based in Beijing.
David Cairns – Executive Director
Geology and mining, extensive global experience in project development and construction, project management. From 1990 -2007, has been responsible for project development for the Resolute Group (Australia) successfully developed three gold mines in Western Australia and in Africa established the Obotan, Ghana and Golden Pride Tanzania gold mines. Also has been managing the redevelopment of the Syama Gold Mine, Mali, a multi million ounce, refractory Gold deposit.
Denis Rakich - Executive Director / Company Secretary
Corporate finance, public listing, equity and debt markets and investor relations, over 25 years experience in mining sector. A member of the Australian Society of Accountants who has had direct involvement in the management, financing and project planning in a number of resource sectors including Gold, Nickel, and Petroleum. He has also been instrumental in a number of significant mergers and acquisitions in the mining industry which have delivered excellent returns for shareholders.
Paul Callander – Executive Director
25 years of business management across Asia, establishment of operations, business development, joint ventures and partnerships, responsibility of local and global compliance for publicly traded companies.
Richard Lockwood - Director
30 years global experience in mining, mining investment and stock broking. Funds manager with New City Investment Managers Ltd based in London where he is responsible for the management of three investment funds specialising in mining and energy investments.
Richard Pyvis - Director
Located in Hong Kong with over 25 years experience in banking, financial services and investment in Asia and North America. Chairman and CEO of CLSA Capital Partners Hong Kong with $2 billion under management in alternative investment opportunities in Asia. Richard read economics at the University of Western Australia and has studied in Japan. He is a member of the Hong Kong Securities Institute, and the Executive Committee of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce's Coalition of Service Industries.
