| Our Trip to New Zealand | ||||||||||||||||

| In mid November/early December 2003 we took a 3 week trip to New Zealand. It was an incredible trip. We flew into Auckland (a 13 hour non-stop flight from Los Angeles) and rented a car. We drove all over the country, from the Coromandel Peninsula in the north to Slope Point in the south. There was so much to do and such varied scenery. The countryside is beautifully green and virtually litter free (at least compared to elsewhere). People were very friendly and we enjoyed the long, late spring days. The further south we drove, the longer the days; in the far south it did not get dark until after 9:30 p.m. To the right are links to photo pages containing many pictures we took.
