I think reading and writing go hand in hand. You can't have one without the other. I love to read and I love to write. I can't get enough of those things. Do you like to read and write? Do you make time to read and write everyday, say 15 minutes a day? Try it, you won't go wrong!

Often young people ask me where I get my ideas. I get ideas all the time. But not every idea will grow into a book. But I get ideas all the time. I get them: from my children, my cats, doing laundry, while gardening, while driving -- everywhere and anytime. Where do your ideas come from?
