Welcome to my religion page. This page will mainly be about what I believe in and some of my morals and values.

The religion that I have chosen to follow is Mormonism, a.k.a. LDS (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints).

Have you heard of the "Mormons"? Well, that's me, I'm a Mormon...(o: This religion is so amazing. It is my absolute anchor in life. Every decision I make, every single one, is in direct relation to my religion. I can't say I know every last detail about my religion, but I know it works for me. I believe that there is a true and living Prophet of God on this earth today, President Gordon B. Hinkley. I believe I am a daughter of my Hevenly Father, who loves me, and I love him. I try to stand as a witness of him at all times, in all things, and in all places. I strive each day to live the values taught to me each Sunday in church. They are: I have a very strong belief in prayer. I think that if you are able to pray, to whatever or whomever you believe in, you are truely a person of value. I believe that if you can talk to God and let him know how thankful you are, what you need from him, tell him the struggles you are going through, and asking him for help and forgivness of every day blunders, then you are really someone who is of great worth. I know that God is my Father in Heaven. I know he gave his only begotten son, Jesus Christ, to the world. Christ suffered the greatest of all for our sins. He is truly an example to me in this day.

I believe so much, with all of my heart and soul in the work of a missionary. My greatest hero on this earth, and one of my very best friends, is my brother, Leonard. He has given 2 years of h is life to God, to serve the people of Uruguay. He sacrificed 2 years of college, to serve the Lord. It boggles my mind to think that a 19-year-old guy, who has only been out of the country once, can travel to Uruguay and live in an empty 2 room stone house, wash his clothes in a cement tub with a rock, and hold meetings of worship in his living room for the people of Uruguay. He has been through so much, and he has only been out for less than 4 months. He is someone who I greatly love and look up to. He is my big brother.

My other big brother is also an example to me, even in this latter-day. His name is Jesus Christ. I know he is a Son of God, as I am a Daughter of God. We are both ones who love our Father in Heaven. Christ gave his life for me. Jennie. He suffered for my sins. He is probably the person I look up to most anywhere. He is the light of my life. He is truly my friend, and I love him more than anyone can even begin to comprehend, even in their dreams.

This page was supposed to be about my religion, but I guess it turned out to mainly just be a testimony of mine. I am kind of suprised that I didn't rant and rave...(o: I'm going to put below, the testimony of the President of my Church, the Prophet Gordon B. Hinkley. It is signed by him and his counselors. The 12 apostles of God also signed this document. All I can say is that this Church is what literally keeps me alive and going each day. Without it, I surely would not be able to function at all. I'll put a link to that testimony of President Hinkley below. Thanks for reading this, whoever you are. It shows you truly care about people and their beliefs.
