| August 7, 2003I have to say that I play my Sims game a lot lately. I found a whole wack of cheats and I used all the money cheats and it got kinda boring, but now I am trying to play with no cheats...which is a lot more fun...I have found new ways to get money without using the cheat. I downloaded a bunch of cool things for my Sims to have too. It's like living the life that I can't. It's kinda funny the phone rings sometimes and they say..."WOULD YOU LIKE TO ADOPT A BABY..and I'm like..NO! lol. My Sims go on vacation, they are famous (well not yet) and they go to work as Doctors, and lawyers, and physics..ROFL..that's funny. I love my game. So just for the record. If you want to buy me a birthday present-WHICH just happens to be a mere 82 days away (Nov 14) for those of you who don't know...I need Sims Makin Magic(It's not out yet..but SOON) I all ready have Sims Deluxe, Sims Hotdate, Sims Superstar, Sims Vacation. So I need House Party and Unleashed...well I'm not sure that I want Unleashed it's pets...I don't think I need to clean up after dogs...so Just House party.Anyway, I should get going, I have to go grab a shower, the kids will be up early, I have to finish painting Kaiden's room tomorrow..which just happens to be MARSHMALLOW BUNNY-Benjamin Moore When I get it done I'll have to post it..also she is getting a new bed so I think that once I get it all together then I'll put one up. I have a whole wack of pictures of the kids that I need to put on here...but I just got new batteries for the adapter. So keep your eyes peeled. Oh I was going to make mention. My friend Janice called me last weekend to see if I wanted to go out for girls night. Which is so crazy, cuz i haven't been out for girls night in a BAZILLION years. It's too bad that Steve was working, and that my brother didnt' get back to me..cuz then I would have went. Afterall it was a LONG time ago. So thinking that my brother was going to come here I went to the liquor mart and picked up a 6 pack of good ole Kokanee..MMMMM and I also picked up a 15 pack of Canadian just cuz it was the long weekend and I thought that maybe we could head out to thecamp gounds and have a few brews..However, forgetting that I was a parent and Steve has been working a really crazy amount of overtime, the beer is sitting in my fridge. Everyone accounted for, and full. Imagine that! Oh well, just goes to show we aren't drunks. I thikn the last time that we had any sort of alcohol (other than cooking wine) in our fridge.HOUSE let alone was in either December or January. That's a LONG TIME! Gee's I wonder when the last time we went out was....Oh well...but it was really nice that Janice called to see if I wanted to go out. Most of my friends know that I'm usually busy with the kids, or steve is usually at work so I don't get to head out much. But I'm going to bed now, so I'll talk to you guys tomorrow...If you can't be good...be careful! Aug 13, 2003SO, we got a new telephone yesterday. It's nothing fancy, but we got a HECK of a deal on it. We were at Canadian Tire, and looking.Steve found one and I was like nah it's not what I'm looking for oh like there's a SPECIFIC type hey..lol. So we put it back and were paying for our other stuff, a new shelving unit for the bathroom really nice actually. But we haven't put it up yet cuz I'm going to paint the bathroom first.I'm going to paint it yellow, an really nice inviting Yellow.. :) Anyway back to the phone. So I was just about to put the bank card through when all of a sudden the girl that was by the phones came over to us with one in her hand. She said what about this one. I said yeah this is like the kind we are looking for, what do you think Steve, and he looked, and said what kind of deal will you give us. So she said well it retails for $79.95...I'll give it to you for $39.95...SOLD I said! See it was one they were no longer bringin in. Ahh...right place at the right time. Today we had a little birthday thing out at the campgrounds for Steve, Drayton, and Uncle Craig. Got Steve a little camping portable BBQ-Grill. It worked awesome. I was really impressed with it! We cooked up a bunch of burgers, and dogs, and this Killer Squirrel was walking around our site with his brother. They were jumping right up onto the table, and running right under our feet. Im sure if there weren't a bunch of 4 year olds and a 2 1/2 year old running after him, it would have taken a cheesy right out of my hand! They were crazy close to us! Then the seagulls were out in full force...man oh mna. As soon as the seagulls can by all eyes were pointed up...and people were worried about the target practice the seagulls are known to have! I love going out to the Fred Henne Park...It's such a nive little escape. It's not too far from home, like for example...we forgot plates. So my sis's boyfriend drove into town and was back in less than ten minutes. How many places do YOU know off that are like that..camping right on the outskirts of town...Well there is GP, where there is the campground thingy right next to the college. Anyway, my friend Cindy emailed me the other day, and she sent me this promo she wrote for the radio. I had to laugh cuz she used my name in it, and she said..GUESS WHO MY INSPIRATION WAS JEN!!! It was about birthdays. WHICH brings me to another topic...only 93 days till my birthday...hmm either I don't know how to count or my birthday changed...refer to previous entry... Anyway, I better hit the sack. It's late and I'm sure some little person that is getting teeth...I'm sure he'll be up soon... LATER POSKATERS Aug 18, 2003 Ahh tonight I watched the priemier (is that right?) of "The Ardens".Jann Arden's family does this "comedy" on the comedy network.Man oh man.Jann ROCKS.Too funny..there is Jann, walkin a fricken cow down the street of Calgary, promoting beef. BIG sign on her and then the cops show up.It's funny reading her site, I went in and read some of the inspirational things people wrote to join her site(hoping in the back of my head that she had mine there) and there are some really inspirational people out there. I think, why can't I write something like that? Why can't I say something smart like they did. I mean someone wrote something about "I opened a window in my heart today, and let the fresh air in." "I feel so alive, I feel " something arather. But I thought...I'd never think to write "OH my heart has opened up into a blooming flower, and the bees are using the pollen from the fruits of my labor to make the world a better place" WAIT! I DID just write that. I know I know, it wasn't for the right reasons,I guess it's true that people can bullshit anything. I guess you have to be a lot more positive and more open and aware of their surroundings. I would like to have the time to sit back and do that.I don't have time for anything these days it seems like.I was up last night until 2:00AM cleaning my bathroom. I was on the fricken floor with a STUPIDO toothbrush scrubbing it. I am trying to overhaul each room individually. I did kady's, the main bathroom, our bathroom, and the hallway closests. Next (tomorrow) is my laundry room. Then I am going to paint it. Iam painting my laundry room Cantaloupe orange.I can't wait. doesns't sound that appealing, but I just want to paint something orange.I'm gonna be a home with each room is a different color. Kady's room is marshmallow bunny pink, my room is (I named it) Paris blue. My laundry room is cantaloupe orange, the bathroom is going to be Yellow...my bathroom is going to be a green color, and then there is the living room kithcen and entrance. The boys room is going to be a race car blue. What kind of people live a home with THAT many different colors? Me I guess.I'm tired of the sterile white. It just doesn't work. I think that if I do this painting I'll enjoy living here more. I mean if we could add on (OR JUST GET A NEW HOUSE!!) I'd be happier..it's just so caotic here with the kids, and not enough room.We just bought Kady a new bed.(I told you I'm overhauling each room!)Stupid thing was over $1000.00!Good thing Steve loves Kady so much...cuz he didn't have a problem paying for it.Thought Tim might want to help(b-day gift).Ces't le vive. All you can do is ask. My parents put in too! THEY ROCK! What would I do without them! They love the kids SO MUCH! I love them :) |
