| MaY 7, 2004 Soooo, store location picked,orders made, 3000 under budget, calls for a new puter for the store! Going to Edmonton on Monday for racks and display items, and what have you...and the doors open Aug 3...(that's what I'm shootin for) This is so awesome! I have wanted a business of my own since I was about 8 years old..that's 20 YEARS!!!!and finally. Thanks to Steve, I have my store opening. I have to say the lady at the UI...er EI center has been AWESOME too! She's on my side because she knows that I am doing my part, unlike some of the others who are on this SEO program. Anyway, I only have a few minutes to write here, it's late, and I have to go to sleep. Long day tomorrow, and Im' plannin on an outting tomorrow night with Nicole, who just moved back, and Jae, she just got back from up north working, so I think she'll be ready for a night on the town! Anyway Email me any time people! :) April 25, 2004 I just finished reading Jann Arden's Journal I just sit back and read, and think "hey she's writing what I'm thinking....writing the things that I can't seem to get on to paper, or puter. She was talking about how you can walk thur life and see so many people, and you look at them and keep walking, then there is the person that makes you stop and look at. WHY, what makes that person so different from someone else that you stop and look at them. I mean, if you and I were walking down the street, you might look at someone and think he is the best looking person that you have ever seen. I on the other hand probably/may not think the same. WHY...I remember one time back in the day, there was this guy that I had a "crush" on...he wasn't the best looking guy out there (this actually is MOST of the guys I had crushes on). The guys that I usually liked weren't very popular, they weren't the "best looking" but there was always a little sompin sompin that kept my interest. Yea yea generally they were from Saskatchewan or Manitoba, but hey! lol I wonder what attracts someone to someone else. Why can you sit in an airport, mall, parking lot, where ever, and watch people, come and go, and there is only a FEW that you will think of later that day. Something that sticks out. Werid I don't know I should get off this kick. We went out last night and I watched a lot of people at the bar. And thought a lot of different things, I have to admitt, some of them probably weren't the "nicest" thing's, and you konw what there were probably a lot of people there who didn't think "much" of me. CES'T LE VIVE!!! Anyway. I better go, my eyes are sore, my laundry is getting wrinkles as I speak, and my other laundry is probably going to mold soon cuz I have no desire to finish it up! UGHH. I just have to get my place painted, get the clothes ordered, and get a few ideas for racks etc...and now there is a small show that I'm going to try and get down to to find bags, rack ideas, and stuff like that. I've got so many things going thru my head it's amazing. I got a phone number for my store it's actually 765-0543 (it spells 765-0kid) but I'm gonna try and change it to 765-5432 I think it might be a little easier to remember than the other then it'll just be 765-kid2 and a count down 5432. April 19, 2004 So can ANYONE tell me why my child thought that putting a crayon, a RED one nonetheless, into my dryer without my knowledge would be a great idea??? NOW not only do I have red caked on crayon IN my dryer, but the clothes that were IN the dryer are red too! SHEESH. Anyway, i was lookin at my last entry, how crappy was that! Oh well. I have lots on my mind, I have to do it when I think of it, or it never gets done! So I have been trying to download some tunes from Overnet. Which, yes, is illegal, but hey, everyone is doing it,.. and I started downloading the Jerky Boys discography, which consists of 8 discs, and it has been downloading since last night. The thing is, I want to cancel it and try again, but I'm scared to cuz what if it just "takes": that long, and i went and cancelled it, and then have to wait that long again.. I mean there is only 33.37% downloaded....so if anyone might know anything about overnet, please contact me! So other than that, what can I say...I'm kinda a boring person I suppose. But don't let that fool you. I used to be a LOT more fun. In fact, if I remember correctly, I was the one everyone would call to set stuff up. If we were going out, it would be me that got the phone call to arrange the outting. Ahh the good ole days. April 18, 2004 So I was looking for a new "purse" or bag as I Like to call them. I hate the word "purse" sheesh, stupid word! But anyway April 17, 2004 Wow, 1 week with no update. Well I went to Edmonton for the buying show. It was pretty good. I have to say that there was a lot to take in. There of course were a few people who...SHOULDN'T be in the business. It's not a used car that I'm trying to buy! I had to lay down the law at one point with one of the reps, and there was another who I didn't particularly care for. Other than that things were good. I went and did some shopping the last day that I was there. I got hooked on this song by "d12 featurning Eminen" called my band. It's pretty catchy. Always happens that way. So when I got home instead of doing what I usually do, which is buy an album for one song, I came home and downloaded it. WOO HOO..computer geek! But hey everyone's doing it! Anyway, of course I am being beckoned, so I'll be back in a little bit. TA TA April 10, 2004 Well, my friend Jae just called here, well, her and her sis, my friend Lisa, and Lisa gave me shit and told me that I'm staying at her house when I go to Edmonton on Monday. So that worked out great. I am going to stay in the hotel for one night, that way then I can at least have ONE peaceful night with NO ONE around...hmmm wonder if I'll really like it or not??? Anyway...I'm heading out for the buying show!!! I can't wait! I'm hoping that my funding will be approved when I get home. I'm going with no cash, this way I can't do any impulse shopping for the store. I think this may be the best thing for me. I have to say that I am really thinking that I will miss the kids like crazy. Tonight is the night of the EB..you know the Easter Bunny, I'm not a big fan of Easter, we didn't really celebrate it much when I was a kid, usually the "eb" gifts on the table, and that's it. But I'm going to try and make it more fun for the kids. I got some chocolate eggs, and I'm going to be hiding them as soon as the kids hit the sack, then the older two got a book each and a computer game each...wonder if that is wise to give them both the game at the same time! UGHH there will be a fight over my computer tomorrow morning. I'll make them solve the problem, and figure out how to make sure each of them get the same amount of time on the puter. Hopefully it won't be a bad thing! Other than that I'm getting the spring time cleanning bug. I can't stand the loo, of my closet, or my laundry room (which by the way I'll be painting soon, orange !!) and my bathroom in our room, needs to be painted also. Any suggestions on a color? I don't know. I told my sister that I was thinking of painting my living a kinda wheaty color. My sister was over last night and I told her that, she just burst out laughing, and I was like...WHAT...WHAT...and she just said "yeah, figures" I said what are you talking about, she laughed some more and said you and a wheat color...SASKATCHEWAN WHEAT color..LOL I thought yah that is typical of me!
