"It's wonderful.
Everywhere, so white.
The river has frozen over.
Not a soul on the ice.
Only me skating fast.

i took the buses and was picked up by angela yesterday and am suitably camped out at her house again. just in the nick of time. come evening, flakes were decidedly raining down on us. several inches cover everything, except the spots where we've since treaded, or had snowball fights, or made angels. angela tells me tonight, her son prayed: "please, god, give us the courage to let it snow tomorrow." .. the rest of us are sort of pleased it just now stopped.
but it's been lovely, and i am very thankful angela and family could take me in for a few more days. i can't imagine being snowed in at the office. it would be me and a box of poptarts, huddled up in my red, red knitted blanket. awww.
