now i can't decide if i'm suddenly in a sad mood because i somewhere downloaded something sad sounding (probably as early as when i got the replacement's rock 'n' roll ghost) that lead to more sad-sounding downloads that affected my mood, or if i was already in a sad mood and downloaded them to deal with that. frrrk. either way, thank you, techno ghod, for audiogalaxy and a not-crashing office computer with a fast hook-up.
for the record, i slept the past few nights in my new dorm room, in my new dorm bed, with my new room mate in the room. i'm pleased! so far, so good. her name is shon, and she is an identical twin just like my previous room mate was. in an extra twist, our suite mate's name is also shon. heh. both seem very nice and relaxed.
shon, the room mate, proved good when she put up a poster on her wall adjacent to my bed of... angelina jolie in tomb raider. that, and letting me use her computer and micro wave at any time i wish, and lending me her video tape of "jerry springer: too hot for tv!!!" proved even better. i'm hopeful. :)
a semester with very little room mate angst and drama? would definitely be welcome! as i said. i'm hopeful.
