| Who we are. We are a group of neighbors who have come together with CBS (Community Based Services) of Tacoma, to get involved in doing good things for the community around the Jennie Reed School. The Jennie Reed Neighborhood is defined by the boundaries of S.38th street north to I-5 and S. "M" Street west to I-5. This group was formed on 5/11/06 when we had the first meeting with CBS. What we want to accomplish. It is our intent to help and encourage the residents and property owners of this area, with the help of volunteers and the City, to maintain their property to a minimum standard as outlined by the City of Tacoma Municipal Code. As well as doing what we can to improve the standard of living for everyone in this area. This will be accomplished by going out to get to know the residents and invite them to our meetings and to get there input as to what they think can or should be done. The areas of concern that we have determined, so far, are as follows: Speeding, Apartments-problem directly and indirectly associated with drug dealings and overall nuisance, Drug Dealing, Infrastructure issues including sidewalk, curb and unpaved streets. Tell the desk officer that you are here for the Jennie Reed Meeting and they will let you in. Dates: Second Wednesday of every month Time: Meeting starts at 6:00 pm goes to 7:30 pm |

| Thank You. A special "Thank You" goes out to Pastor Tony Johnson of the "First Church of the Nazarene" for providing the room for this group to meet for the first year, plus some. Jennie Reed Neighbors are very thankful for allowing them to use the church for our past meetings. |
