| Jennie Reed Neighbors with a partnership with Community Based Services of Tacoma are proud to have acomplished the following: Installation of street lighting near Asotin and 35th street. Installed a Locking Gate in the alley between Asotin and Ainsworth north of 35th street. Installed Speed Bumps on Asotin and soon to be onSheridan St. (More streets to follow.) Volunteered on the Safe Streets safe routes clean up for the school this past summer. With the help of the Tacoma Police department we have identified drug houses and have them removed. as well as derilict viehicles. |

| On October 28th Jennie Reed Neighbors partnered with Tacoma CBS Team, Southend Comunity Council, Tacoma Waste Management, Tacoma Police, Tacoma City Community Work Crew, Safeway, Starbucks, Costco, Weed and Seed, and numerous volunteers from the neighborhood and successfully held a neighborhood clean up. Jennie Reed Neighbors Would like to extend a very heartfelt Thank You to everyone involved wth this clean up. It is great to see that there are so many people willing to help the neighorhood. In just this one day we removed 43,620 puonds of garbage, 12 refrigerators and 140 tires from the neigborhood. Job Well Done! |
