"Well I was in the neighborhood and though I'd drop by" Rich said. "And who is this lovely lady?" Abs asked Rich. "This is Sara , she's my girlfriend." Rich answered. "Well come in, come in. Alea and Scott are in the living room"
"Hey guys! Look who it is" Abs announced to the room. Alea jumped from her seat and ran to hug her friend. Scott just looked completely shocked. "Oh my gosh! Ritchie it's been almost eight months since we've heard from you" Alea said as she hugged him. "Hey man" Scott said as he gave Rich a hug. "You've gotta tell us what you've been up to" Scott said, "Like who is your lady friend?" "I'll tell you mine when you tell me yours" Rich said. "Oh. This is my good friend Nisa" "Hello" Nisa said from her seat. "Hi" Rich said back. "This is my more than close friend Sara" Everyone said their hello's. Alea got drinks for everybody. And they were now updating on each others lives.
"So I went around traveling. Visiting every place we'd been to but never really saw. And while in Canada, when I went to visit J, I met Sara. We kept in touch while I was in the states, and I ended up visiting her before I headed off to Australia. To make a long story short, she ended up coming with me, and we've been together ever since. "Rich told everyone "Oh that is so sweet. Hey, how is J anyway?" Alea asked. "Well he's visiting his family in Alberta, Canada. But that was almost 6 months ago. He and Sean we're planning on doing the same as me, traveling. So I'm assuming that's what their up to" Rich said. "Well actually Sean just called me about a month ago. He just bought a house in the states. So he and his girlfriend are living there" Abs said. "Then I have no clue what he's up to. I would guess he's traveling by himself..... Have you guys kept in touch with the girls?" Rich asked. "Actually we assumed you'd be the only one is touch with them. " Alea said. "Guys me and Jessica were never going out Besides we lost touch. Last I heard from her she was leaving school to go off traveling with some guy. So she told me the next time she'd call would be to tell me two thing, 1. She wants me to pick her up because she dumped the guy or, 2. She's getting married. So it's been 4 months and not a word. So we may have a wedding on our hands." Rich laughed. Alea then said what she knew, "I haven't heard from Candy or MaryBeth in a while. But I know MaryBeth is married by now. She was engaged then" Alea said. "Do I even want to ask why we weren't invited?" Rich asked. "Let's just saw during our last conversation she revealed that we didn't really have a friendship anymore. Which honestly I can understand. I mean at the time we hadn't seen each other in over a year, and I think we only talked three times. Even worse it was her b-day, my b-day and christmas. Our last conversation was actually pretty bad. At the end of the conversation she told me to say bye to everyone, and hopes everyone has a great life. And I haven't heard from her since." Alea said sadly. "What about Candy?" Rich asked. "Gosh we kept in touch for the first two years, like every 2 weeks we talked. Then suddenly the phone calls stopped and when I called she was never home. The last time I called I ws informed she had moved, and she didn't leave a forwarding address. So I have no clue, it wasn't even like our last conversation was bad or anything" "Gosh I can't believe everyone split up like this. 4 years ago we were inseparable. Now we have to compare notes just to find out where everyone is" Rich said
"Guys, I think I'm gonna leave. I really don;t feel in place here. Nice meeting you all though" Nisa left the room and Abs began to sing "Ding dong, the bitch is gone, the bitch is gone, Ding dong the wicked bitch is gone.!" From the hallway came, "I heard that asshole!"
Once Nisa left Rich had to ask, "What is that?" "What?" Abs asked cluelessly. "Nisa and you?" "They absolutely, positively HATE each other." Scott summed up the situation. "Why?" Rich asked. "Cause she's a bitch" Abs answered. "Long confusing story" Alea told Rich. "I won't even ask" Rich said confused.
Rich and Sara took up Alea's offer and spent the night in the guesthouse. Once the girls had gone to bed the guys all talked. "So do you miss it?" Rich asked. "At first I honestly didn't. But after a year I did. But it may be I'm just bored. I mean Alea works 5 days week. So there's no time to travel. Cause on the rare vacation time she gets we're visiting out families. Alea keeps saying I should get a job. But my only job was 5ive. And I doubt I could ever top that." Scott said. "Well I traveled for the first year, and that kept me occupied But now I'm bored. But I know I could never handle a 9 to 5 desk job." Abs said. "I'm just curious, what happened with you and Danielle?" Rich asked. "Let's just say she like the fact we were both famous. When I had all the time to spend with her, she realized what a relationship is like" "I'm sorry" Rich said. "Don't be. Everyone warned me about her, it's my fault for not listening."
"It's amazing how many things have changed, I mean a lot more than I expected.. I mean I never believed I was like power happy. But I never realized how little respect you get. When I used to walk into a store I was always served with a smile. No I can't get their attention in an empty store." Rich laughed. "It's funny how all the critics think we were really smart. You know leaving just before pop music died. But I have to admit I gotta feel sorry for all the other artists. One day your platinum. The next you can't eve book yourself in a crummy bar.." Scott said.
"I still can't believe the group is so separated... Wait what's happening with Keesha?" Rich asked. "Oh she's married and has a little girl. We talk every couple months. " Scott said. "And how's everything with Alea's family?" Rich asked. "Amazing" Scott said. "Once the group ended she read an article that said I quit for Alea and the group shattered. She said that proved I was worthy of my daughter. And I wasn't gonna correct her by saying it was a mutual decision." Scott laughed. "And surprising enough we're still in touch with Nathan. He's married and had twins, a boy and girl" Scott said.
"You know what we really need to have a reunion. The whole big group. "Abs said. "yeah but our group is all over the world, half of them missing in action" Rich said. "Alea's a really good writer, I've read a lot of her articles\. She's amazing" Rich said. "I wouldn't know. I don;t read her articles, I'd rather know her as the sweet girl I married not some controversial writer. Besides she prefers it that way." Scott said
"It was nice seeing you again" Alea said as she hugged Rich. "When you figure out where your gonna stop traveling tell us" Alea asked. "Will do" Rich said. "Don't be like Marybeth I don't think I could handle it" Scott whispered as he hugged Rich. "Never" Rich whispered back. After Abs hugged Rich he said, "I wanna be there when you two hook up" referring to Rich and Sara. Rich looked at Sara and said, "Don't worry you'll all be there" and he kissed her lightly on the cheek. "BYE!" They all screamed as his car went down the street.
