Amazing!
Jelena Dokic is in the final of the "Acura Classic" in San Diego! A magnificent week for Jelena continued last night, when she defeated Anna Kournikova of Russia, in 3 sets, 6-7, 7-6, 6-0, after saving two match points. The match was really tensed in the beginning, with Jelena losing the first set, especially due to the huge number of double faults. The second set continued the same way. Kournikova missed two match points, when leading 5-4. After the tie-break, there were no more problems for Jelena, who cruised passed Anna Kournikova, 6-0 in the decider.

Draw for next week's Morgan Chase Open
Jelena Dokic is fourth seed at the "JP Morgan Chase Opem" that will start tomorrow, in Manhattan, USA. Jelena is already qualified for the second round, where she will meet either Peng Shuai of China, or Tina Pisnik of Slovenia. The first real opponent of Jelena could be Kim Clijsters, in the quarter finals.

What a win!
Jelena Dokic:"This is the biggest result of my carreer". Jelena defeated Jennifer Capriati, in the quarter finals of the Accura Classic in San Diego, 2-6, 6-2, 6-4. The dramatic match ended in style for the young yugoslavian, who amazed with the precision of her long shots.

Jelena prepares for Capriati
Jelena Dokic will meet Jennifer Capriati in the quarter finals of the "Acura Classic" in San Diego, USA. Capriati easily defeated Meghann Shaugnessy in the third round of the tournament, 6-4, 6-1. The match will be played on the "Stadium Court", starting 7.00 pm local time, that's 4 am cet.
In another quarter final matchup, first seed Venus Williams will meet Kim Clijsters.
