The founder of Jehovah Church was sadu B. Chellan. He was lived in Mathoor village. His parents were Mr. Beeman and Mrs. Abaranam. He is the sixth son of his parents. Though they belonged to CS.I. Christianity, they had deep connection with Hindu rituals.

In his youth he gave much importance to physical exercise such as yogasanam, games and kalari. He had attained a very good physique in his time. He studied all these exercises with 13 Teachers (Asan). He had been lived as a Rowdi at that time. Agriculture and Tailoring were his occupation.

One day when he was 24, he went to Kirubasanam Pentecost church, Kanchiracode one of his relatives who was left out by doctors was in the Kanchiracode, Kirubasanam Pentecost church. He went there to see him. He saw that the diseased man got released from his illness.

By seeing the recovery he was touched by the Holy spirit and came in to Christ. He got faith on Jesus Christ. He astonished that, how did that man got cured? If this man is really cured by Jesus Christ then no other God - but Jesus Christ is the one and only living God. He believed Jesus at once and got salvation.

Sadhu Yesudhasan ayya taught him about Jesus, and he decided to get Baptism. So sadhu Yesudasan ayya gave baptism to him. Immediately he received the Holy Sprit. He started fasting for few days and anointed by God with fire and the Holy Spirit.
